SAYING "THANK YOU" TO YOUR BODY
Is one of the most important things you can do, especially when you’re pursuing a life of self-love and wellness, especially during these crazy times.
SOUNDS EASY, RIGHT?
Wrong! It’s not a habit that comes naturally because society is constantly telling us to change ourselves to fit a socially accepted standard.
SPA DAY
At this point, we can all agree that there’s nothing particularly relaxing about life during a pandemic. And as nice as a trip to the salon or spa sounds right now, for many of us it’s still out of the question! So I’m proposing that we all devote a day (or a half-day, or even an hour!) to a little R & R in the form of an at-home “spa day.” It can be as simple as popping on a sheet mask or investing in a muscle-soothing soak to ease tightness from sitting at your couch all day. Hey Honey’s Body Treatment Collection formulated with honey and natural butters to hydrate and revitalize dry skin can be a great start.
so fill your tub, take your time, and hit PLAY on the perfect relaxing playlist we created for you!
MEDITATION
Meditation is a beautiful way to center yourself. When life is stressful or your mind is racing, you can always turn to meditation. It’s also accessible for everyone because you can do it anywhere. All you need to do is find a quiet, comfortable space, close your eyes, and simply breathe.
If you don’t know where to start, or you just prefer guided meditation, we recommend downloading an app. There are a lot of great ones out there! One of our favorites is called Insight Timer. It has 5- to 60-minute or longer meditations to help you relax and rebalance. When you dedicate yourself to easing your mind every day, you will reap the benefits of meditation as your own wellness advocate.

GET YOUR HANDS
ON A BOOK
While connectivity is one of the great blessings of our era, constant connectivity can be a curse. Nearly half of Americans admit they are too busy to read. And yet, reading books remains one of the best ways to engage with the world, become a better person and understand life’s questions, big or small. Hey Honey’s recommendation for today is ״Unfu*k Yourself: Get Out of Your Head and into Your Life.״ This straightforward handbook gives you the tools and advice you need to demolish the slag weighing you down and become the truly unf*cked version of yourself.

MOVE YOUR BODY
Exercise is one of the most fundamental things you can do to improve your health, take care of your body and clear your mind. Twenty minutes of light to moderate activity is really all you need. Take a yoga class. Dance to your favorite music in the living room. Walk to work or on your lunch break. Whatever feels good to you, whatever feels doable for you, do it. You deserve that rush of endorphins!

TAKE YOUR TIME
AND... LAUGH
Laughter relaxes the whole body, boosts the immune system, triggers the release of endorphins, protects the heart, lightens anger’s heavy load, and even burns calories!
Spend time with your existing friends, make new friends, do fun stuff and laugh together on and on and on and on....
